my media consumption

NEWSPAPERS
1.  The Guardian, The independent, The Sun
2. I read the current affairs sections just because i like to stay up to date with what's happening, i also like to read the reviews on films and such as it helps me find a film or show to watch.
3. The sport sections because it just isn't an area i'm interested in.
4. I like to read crime stories as i'm interested in criminal justice and also i like to read up on celebrity news as i find it intriguing due to clickbait and such on social media sites
5. My dad usually buys a newspaper or i'll read up on the news app on my phone
6. I use the news app on my phone because it's user friendly and recommends me articles which suit my taste

MAGAZINES
1. I read GQ and Vogue since they usually have content i am interested in such as interviews with my favourite famous people like Jeff Goldblum.
2. I like to read the review sections because i find them the most enticing and informative but i also enjoy the photo spreads since i think they're always really aesthetically pleasing for me.

TELEVISION
1. I spend around 7 hours a day watching television a week.
2. I usually watch television at around 8/9pm.
3. I quite enjoy documentaries such as Planet earth, or Stacey Dooley Investigates... since I think they're intriguing and they help me become a more well-rounded individual. I also like watching shows such as Black Mirror and Stranger Things since they usually have really beautiful cinematography and i enjoy the soundtracks and scores a lot.
4. I usually watch alone since it usually takes me a while to finish a show and i like to take my time to appreciate all the aspects of it.
5. I usually watch tv on demand or on netflix since i can watch them whenever i have some free time and can adapt to watch whenever i am free.

Radio
1. I don't listen to the radio often, since i prefer to listen to podcasts since they're more aligned with my personal interests.
7. My dad listens to the radio a lot whilst driving since he likes to listen to current music and he finds it the most efficient way to keep up with the news whilst he's on the go.

Cinema
1. Recently, in the cinema i have seen; Ant-man and the wasp, Hotel Transylvania 3, Oceans 8, and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.
2. I have watched; Her, Baby Driver, The Edge of Seventeen, Hercules, To All The Boys I've Loved Before, Kiki's Delivery Service and The Lovely Bones
3. I usually watch them with my friends; Tamzin, Alison and also i like to watch them alone.
4. We usually have a democracy to decide what films to watch so we all come to a unanimous decision.
5. I usually watch them on my laptop or phone depending on the time of day or who i'm watching with.

Online
1. I access the internet around 10 hours a day.
2. I access the internet at school, at home and also in the car.
3. I usually go on twitter, instagram, the news app, snapchat, spotify,  and i also frequently go on the Amazon.
4. Usually to keep up with friends, listen to music or keep up to date with things. I also use Amazon to buy things that i find interesting but don't necessarily need.
5. I usually do homework or things i need to do whilst i go on the internet.
6. I use my laptop and my phone to access the internet but mainly my phone because it's more portable and efficient to use.
7. I regularly use twitter since i have a large following on there and i enjoy sharing content and being able to express myself and be a small part of someones day even if it's just through a tweet.

Reflection
1. I can listen to more radio and expand the number of magazines i read as well as the content.
2. I'll try and read a larger variety of articles and movie/tv genres instead of what's in my comfort zone.
3. I will interact more with Radio, Newspapers and Magazines.
